Free online talk: Use it or Lose it: The Future of Thinking Under AI

This is a public talk by the secretary of the Federation of Asia Pacific Philosophy in Schools Associations, and education officer for the South Australian Philosophy in Education Association (SAPEA), Lorelei Siegloff. Lorelei invites us to pause and reflect on what our purposes are as educators and how AI fits into this ethical vision. She will examine recent research about the impact of AI on student participation in active thinking, and consider the implications of the outcomes, and help educators develop some appropriate responses.
